Part-Time Customer Service Representative (20-25 Hours per Week)

VelociRAX is currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through various channels, including phone calls, emails, online chats, and text messages. If you have excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and prior customer service experience, along with a passion for the bike industry or personal experience in that domain, we encourage you to apply.


- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, online chats, and text messages from customers promptly and professionally.

- Provide accurate and helpful information to customers regarding product inquiries, order status, shipping details, and general inquiries.

- Resolve customer complaints and issues by actively listening, empathizing, and offering appropriate solutions in a timely manner.

- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.

- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products, promotions, and company policies to assist customers effectively.

- Utilize computer systems and software to input and retrieve customer data, update records, and track customer interactions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, shipping, and product departments, to ensure seamless customer experiences.

- Identify and escalate complex or unresolved customer issues to the appropriate team members or supervisors.

- Fulfill and deliver customer orders in-store, including installation on their vehicle.


- Availability to work part-time, 20-25 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

- Proficiency in using computers, including knowledge of email systems, web browsers, and basic software applications.

- Prior customer service experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to handle a high volume of customer inquiries and providing exceptional service.

- Familiarity with the bike industry or personal experience in cycling is a plus, enabling you to better understand and relate to customer needs and inquiries.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and rationally in a fast-paced environment.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with customers of diverse backgrounds and personalities.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling customer orders, returns, and exchanges.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

- Lift boxes up to 50lbs.
